so far, i learn that even if evolution is still a debatable topic, many of us have different points of view which we have to respect. we are different from each other, we are unique. this is in one way or another a time for us to trace back our ancestors and to give appreciation on what we are today. no hesitation and no buts....

Explain in your own words the meaning of "pakikisama" as a cultural value that we inherit from our peers?

PAKIKISAMA is the action when a person wants to fit in in a certain kind og group. people's beliefs and behaviors are influenced by others within a group. people seek conformity through a desire to achieve a sense of security with his or her peers around.

Conformity is the result of a process by which people's beliefs or behaviors are influenced by others within a group in the formation and maintenance of social norms. This process can involve subtle forms of coercion as people generally seek conformity through a desire to achieve a sense of security within a larger group of people usually of similar age, culture, religion or educational status. It is thus common among young people as an aspect of youth culture and is related to the social dynamics of gangs.

Sir ang genes, cuture, and gender kai under sa social influence kai sa genes sir we are influence on the people who lived before (bali kung unsa ta krn na influence ta nla)...Ang culture kai under sa social influence kai beliefs, attitudes, traditions kai gina share man nato or gina-pasa-pasa from one generation to another generation...And then ang gender kai under social influence kai we may biologically know what we are(male or female) but through socializing maka-balo jud ta unsa dapat ang ginabuhat sa each gender...
