To be honest, I have no source for this but myself. . Hehe. . Anyway, I've learned that who and what I am today is not just due to biological and environmental factors but also due to evolutionary factors. If humans had not evolved, I would probably still be living in a cave, with a patrilineal culture and with none of the comforts we enjoy today. I would also be less "other-oriented" (a term of my on invention, hehe) and would probably not have ethics since I would have been taught to do anything and everything (regardless of its effects on others) just to survive. . Evolution has made me into a better person by shaping both my genes and my environment. . All of these combined, determine who I am today. .![]()
ok...salamat sir...here goes my answer...
i learned nga my behaviors now...are possibly not my behavior before or wla ko ani nga behavior before bcoz my behavior must adapt or relate to time and space.in order to survive, i must adapt or evolve so to speak. for example pagka bata nko, what i care is just eat, sleep, play and things nga lingaw2 lng jud...but as i grow older, i started to think about getting an income, thinking and reacting to socio-economic and political issues...bcoz pra nko...sa pagka karong panahona i nid to get involve to things like these or be aware sa socio-economic and political issues kay this will have an impact sa akong state in life...mka hatag bani nko ug nndot nga kinabuhi nko ig future...maayo bani nga desisyon sa gobyerno pra sa ato or pra sa ako.a mismo...things like that...
Ang pakikisama:
Sir ang pakikisama kai part nah cya sa culture, for example dri sa philippines: if nai student gi invite ug laag sa iyang friends, and then ni balibad ang student kai mag-study pa cya. Unya ang mga friends nya mu ingn daun na "naninga bata", "arti", "maot","dili kabalo mo get-along"....Unya through that words ma influence ang student nah mu kuyog kai dili cya ganahan na ma ingnan na maot na words, so ang pakikisama kai cultural kai through pakikisama nai interaction (mapugos man or dili)...![]()
so far, i learn that even if evolution is still a debatable topic, many of us have different points of view which we have to respect. we are different from each other, we are unique. this is in one way or another a time for us to trace back our ancestors and to give appreciation on what we are today. no hesitation and no buts....

yes sir, in different aspects. but in relation to social psych. i've learned and came to realize how powerful the influence of our peers to us and also their how their companion would mean to us. that we would want to do things that would please them and mimicking the things they do just to belong to the group.![]()
CULTURE: Culture is crucial for understanding human behavior. People acquire beliefs and values from the people around them, and you can’t explain human behavior without taking this reality into account.
Culture Is Essential by Peter J. Richerson and Robert Boyd, excerpted from Not By Genes Alone: How Culture Transformed Human Evolution
GENES: because our inherited genes affects on how we deal with other people..for example, being not sociable.. other people may misinterpret this behavior sir..
OWN OPINION
GENDER: for me sir..it has something to do with gender differences sir,,for example sir, other people may think sir na girls are not capable of doing what men (some) can do..
