    mao gyud bro.. y ingon ana man ang palisiya sa mga computer shops? approved na sa DTI nga if naa physical damage ma void ang warranty? kay ang mga computer shops mo rason man nga i void sa ilang supplier. so wala gihapon dag anan ang mga computer shops kay hasta sila gi void sa supplier. naa kaha supplier nga bisag masunog ang unit naa japon warranty? na sunog unya wala tuyo a. like ang computer parts, wala na tarung ug taod naa man jud possibility ma sunog na, nya gi tuyo d i na sa ga taod nga kay dli kahibaw mo taod. so for sure void jud ang warranty ana but wala gud na gi tuyo dba.

    The problem is, an AOC 5En monitor malfunctioned last Sept 16,2008. I thought it was just a power cable glitch (loosen or something), when I checked it out the Power cable seems undetachable. On further look, it was much worse...the power cable (which came in with the package) was melted and the socket was burned. This is the first time I've encountered such problem (i've had a lot of AOC monitors before). I checked the other components attached on the PC, all else was fine except for the monitor. I believe the one i've recieved is a defective product. A few months back (2 months after purchase), I've heard irking sound on this monitor...I thought it was just the AVR, but now I know..it was the monitor burning away its power cable.

    Do note, ang uban units wala jd naka-experience og ing.ani... nya ang circuit sa cafe was installed by a VECO credited electrician...all wires and outlets were properly installed and checked.

    Now, ako ni-gpadala sa PC Express last Sept 16, 2008 kay under warranty pa mn ni (Last Jan 2008 pa ni gpalit)... They said na, dili cla muaccept og warranty ani kay "Burn out" man daw... Burnt = Physical Damage = No warranty. But I explained this to them and they decided to ship it to manila (supplier) para macheck and probably ma-credit ang warranty sa supplier. 2 weeks+ passed...

    Cge ko follow up sa status sa ako unit... Ako gsuwayan og call ang PCX karn adlawa, and the guy in-charge told me na di jud daw mada sa warranty ang unit matud pa sa Supplier kay nadaot daw ang mainboard sa monitor. And the cost to repair the unit will be Php 2,100!!!! WTF..wa cla nabuang?!!, tabla man sad ko mupalit og bag.o monitor ana (dungag nlng gamay)..

    I think i'm going to forward this concern to DTI...this is not good, the Unit was defective and they're not plying to replace it. Do note that AOC has 3 years warranty on their monitors..
    maayo pa DTI ka!!! pildi gihapon ka.. ni pirma ka sa recibo dba...physical damage is void bya... mas dapat thankful ka bro,, ngano? ila pa gipasuway na padala sa manila even though sa first policy pa lng VOID na cya... MAHAL bya mag pa freight ug butang.. to think ila gihapon GI EXTEND ila service sa imo.. then naa ka dre , mureklamo.. na sunog na ang likod nu? i think wala ka laban ana,, cuz 2 months ni past na observe nimo.. i belive kung within awr period cguro, ma ngita pa na cla paagi.. 2 months or pila na ka months gamit nimo bro?

    january pa diay nimo na palit,,, wa pud ka nabuang? pila ka months nagamit bro.. and ur expecting it free.. nya naa physical damage... WTF.. mao problema nato.. we think na the "customer is always ryt" .. but naa pud cguro na cya limitation.. thats why naa policies... Do note that AOC has 3 LIMITED years warranty on their monitors.

    based on the law as long as you didn't open or modify the product it CAN BE REPLACED. e complain na. Nakapalit gni ko ug computer parts in CDO, e replace jud... Sometimes sala nako kay na sobrahan ug gamit, pero it will still be replaced. complain. or better yet ask help from a lawyer friend or from Public Attorney's office. Mo sikat paka?

    I have a problem too with pcexpress. ga refer ko sa ako friend ad2 palit and ako iya gipapalit sa tanan items nya. It so happened na defective and vidcard. la jud nagamit ang vidcard..amo gi ad2 para ma avail sa warranty. gpa w8 mig 1 month kay phase out na daw 2 na card...cge mi follow up. until naa lapas 2 months..wa jud clay tawag2x sa contact number amo ghatag. hang2d nakalimtan nalang sa ka bz. nya krn mga 1 year na ang ni lapse na kit.an ang reciept ug ka2ng claim slip para sa warranty. ako gi reklamo did2 ingun cla na after 1 month ma ilisan ra daw na and imposible daw na dle daw cla mutawag sa contact number ghatag sa ila customer. nya long overdue na daw kay 1 year and after 3 months ma embargo na daw item if unclaimed unsa kaha inyo ka advice ani fellow istoryans?

    sakto gyud ang mo sa ato mga ka igsuonan dri sa forum i reklamo para mo tagan na cla, louy kaau ta mga consumedor nga abusahan lang sa mga dagkong negosyo. naa gyud tai consumer right
