I think what they bought are protos....I mean prototype figures that are made for demo or display but not for selling. If you noticed ebay as of late...the unscrupolous employees are selling these.

That's what I thought of first but prototypes don't have accessories yes? The ones that I saw have complete accessories?



Comes with 2 pistols, briefcase w/laptop and mp5 weapon. Right arm is interchangeble with a bionic arm.

Just because it is a proto or pre-release fig doesn't mean that they don't come with accessories...they do.

some protos come with accessories... some dont... depends on your source and availability... there are a number of protos for resolute figs... they're cheap too... i had an offer for a set of roc movie figs protos for about 3usd each... i declined it since im not a big joe collector... there are too many not-so-visible-variants of the same character...

unless it doesnt get into production, then it will be "rare"... but if it does, then wait for a month for them to pop up in your favorite retail store abroad...

gian... if your manila forum friends tell you its available, then they can surely assist you in getting it... that is if they mean what they say... i believe the ebay auction ended at 51usd from a pinoy seller...

I saw the date when my friends got their figs...latest was July 9 2009...so...the figs will be probably arriving in the weeks to come...akala ko pa mo matagal na available sila hehehe

dont feel being left out if most of them have it... those figs will appear sooner or later <hopefully>...

btw, some "protos" are actually finished ones... some overruns... or rejects... some peeps dont label them properly...

as to why my stuff were not there in the display... thats another story... hehe
