Dili man na pwede pang planted. This golden Mojarra can reach upto 14 inches. What I have at home is the Argentea cichlid and Quitzal cichlid both are equaly stunning in terms of color and are also high-priced like the golden Mojarra.

I have tried a few species of freshwater and brackish water dwelling crabs. It was nice, but they have different needs. Your tank should either be shallow or with rocks and|or roots to give your crabs an opportunity to climb from time to time. Crabs may drown, if kept in a deep aquarium with no aeration and with no rocks for the crabs to climb.

Feeding is not a problem, they'll eat almost anything that your fish consumes. I feed mine with desicated coconuts and some fishfood. They will also eat fish, both dead or those that they can catch.

    Good morning fellow ACErs!!

    HOT TIPS on Planted Aquarium:

    Hair Algae??

Try putting in temporarily 2-3 local barbs, or tiger barb, rosy barb will do. Observe for a week. Remove if your barbs are not eating the algaes.

If not, put in local shrimps (1 peso). The more the better.

Do 20%-30% waterchange every four days.

Use toothbrush in removing the hair algae.
