our curiosity and our creativity are crippled when we reach adulthood and realize that our current society do not really encourage people to think for themselves...

..i agree..we tend to only focus for our living..i used to read articles on science breakthroughs..maybe my latest article read was on medical science..on stem cells..id like to read more..but reading consumes most of my time (easily hooked), and i have to have my work done..soon..or no paycheck!..T_T..

When i was having my graduate studies back then, i did have a handful of classmates who were really drop-dead sexy (makes the class interesting too..). But what i missed most was my field studies, where i get to be paried with a very HOT south-africaan chick!! Not to mention we're doing this field-study out in the bush at a burning 42c temp even hotter by stripping down to the bare essentials... hehehe. Raising my own core temp by a few more centrigrades..

She was a brainer, with a body to go with it..

it isnt america only bro..even philippines also...

the problem i see nowadays is that students will just settle on what they see...they wont even spare time to think...thats the reason also why philippines fell on the top 5 from the bottom when it comes to science and math...

could it also be that people just don't have the time to dig science? i'm talking about hard-working, professional individuals with jobs outside the science field.

that would be very difficult now...its so hard to say and see individuals who are not in the science field nowadays dig something or discover something for science...some literate ones dont even know how to seggregate their trash or they even throw them anywhere...doing that actually would even add to our mother earth's problem...
