IMO, if an atheist would find out that Christianity was TRUE, then he would not live a life of regret, because he believed what he had to believe all along, and that "non-belief" belief was based on his principles and values. thus, there is no basis for regret. he can choose to easily transcend to the Christian world, especially knowing the fact that there is now something to believe in versus the "absence of God" in the past.
hence, "Sorry, abi man gud nako" is not applicable in this situation.
