hmmm, im not so sure if thats accurate but im running on 4sticks of ram under dual channel but NOT at @1T

ZetroXEn, should be same brands kay most of the time ma sa ag na cya if dili identical, depende sa mobo sometimes it can work but more stable if identical.
EarlZ, that's what I've read nga disadvantage sa venice core, maybe they have fixed that bug kay ang akong asrock socket 939 pcie dili mo dual sa 4 ka geil 512 nako. Basin indicated lang dual but not actual, try CPUZ to check.

@franklin: how can I change the memory from single channel to dual? my board does support dual channel. does it have to do with the ram? my ram is pc400... sori for my ignorance...Â* thanks!

it depends on the mobo, some are choosy with the ram. i have tried before placing ddr 333 and drr400 on an asus with intel 915 chipset and it worked on dual channel mode but it detects 333 ram. to be sure of stability, use the same type of ram and to be sure it will work in dual channel mode, choose the brands indicated on the mobo manual.

I am a video editor from Masbate. Im using Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz HT dual processor, 512 mb 0f ram,ATI radeon 128 mb v-card. On my experience I recommend this: Pentium 4 3.0 HT dual processor, 1g of RAM, ATI radeon 9600 256 mb, Barracuda Seagate 120g and 40g(40 for the system)....buy a DV firewire and a PCTV....maybe it will cost about 40,000. ow i forget the motherboard...I used asrock for about 1 and half year but now im using PERL D865..its nice...
