I find Watchmen a great movie, and I do admit that I read the graphic novel entirely before seeing it on the big screen.
The film's story is very hardcore by nature, even though it took a few liberties here and there. Simply enough, it best entertains people who read the comics.
Because of its superhero theme, lots of people ended up having the wrong expectations for it. I know a few friends (who never read Watchmen comics) who expected the film to be another superhero action bonanza (ala X-Men, Spider-Man, etc). After watching the film, they all ended up being disappointed.

Watchmen on DVD will be longer. It comes with 25 minutes of footage not scene in the theaters.

Prices of Watchmen DVD as reported from the Metro Comic Con today
1 Disc - P750
2 Disc - P895
2 Disc Steelcase = P1,595
2 Disc Character Case = P1,895
Regardless of price, you get the Watchmen: Director's Cut/Unrated Version (25 minutes of additional footage).
As of today, Watchmen has yet to hit the shelves here in Cebu. Watch for it at Astrovision/Astroplus, Odyssey, and other stores, even though their sales ladies claim they don't know when the discs will arrive.
Oddly enough, no report yet on the pricing of Watchmen: Complete Motion Comic.

Word of caution!
Someone from Manila reported that the Watchmen DVD release is NOT the director's cut that was earlier reported.
The disc packaging has the words "uncut version", but the one who reported having seen the packaging said that it does not have the additional 25 minutes.
Watch and observe closely before buying.
