    "What is Letting Go?"

To "let go" does not mean to stop caring. It means I can't do it for someone else.
To "let go" is not to cut myself off. It's the realization that I can't control another.
To "let go" is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome is not in my hands.
To "let go" is not to try to change or blame another. It's to make the most of myself.
To "let go" is not to care for, but to care about.
To "let go" is not to fix, but to be supportive.
To "let go" is not to judge, but to allow another to be a human being.
To "let go" is not to be in the middle, arranging all the outcomes, but to allow others to affect their own destinies.
To "let go" is not to deny, but to accept.
To "let go" is not to nag, scold, or argue, but instead to search out my own shortcomings and correct them.
To "let go" is not to adjust everything to my desires, but to take each day as it comes and cherish myself in it.
To "let go" is not to regret the past, but to grow and live for the future.
To "let go" is to fear less and to love more.

i do hope this would help especially to those who are having a hard time getting off from the past...
Igu si Ching2x sa imong mga thoughts diri Sis, heheheh. He told me man jud before na he let go of his wife due to his love for her. If he didnt let go daw, the wife would lose her own parents *the wife daw is not ready to do that at all*. Its a complicated stuff yet one must sacrifice its own happiness in order to save another life.

Ching2x and his psych friends came up with the same conclusion regarding that stuff.

For the general public, "letting go" means to lose something or someone and is associated with anything bad news but little do they understand the true meaning behind it.

I really admire his words for his wife and it goes like this "There are bonds that cannot be broken and to that fate will conspire our paths to cross again." He even have a poem like letter for that.

Anyway, to let go sometimes means to love more and it may sound like a paradox, but yet this is reality at its best *or worse perhaps*.

    Put away the pictures.
    Put away the memories.
    I put over and over
    Through my tears
I've held them till I'm blind
    They kept my hope alive
As if somehow that I'd keep you here
Once you believed in a love forever more?
How do you leave it in a drawer?

Now here it comes, the hardest part of all
Unchain my heart that's holding on
How do I start to live my life alone?
    Guess I'm just learning,
Learning the art of letting go.

    Try to say it's over
    Say the word goodbye.
But each time it catches in my throat
    Your still here in me
And I can't set you free
So I hold on to what I wanted most
Maybe someday we'll be friend's forever more
Wish I could open up that door

Now here it comes, the hardest part of all
Unchain my heart that's holding on
How do I start to live my life alone?
    Guess I'm just learning,
Learning the art of letting go

    Watching us fade
    What can I do?
But try to make it through
the pain of one more day
    Without you

Where do I start, to live my life alone?
I guess I'm learning, only learning,
    The Art of Letting go.

Contemplating on letting go is very easy and convincing at that, for a person who wants to be free but it pains like hell once you do it coz regrets and what-ifs beset after making such decision. It's ironic for us to think that letting go will set us free but there are points in our lives that doing so entrap us still in our past and it's even harder to let go.

"Stuck in a limbo so to speak, past keeps haunting our senses as if the past and the present merge into a single frame. Lamentation and Anticipation" Words from Ching2x
