I heard rumors that LCD has slow performance in terms of gaming. is this true mga bro? kay plano man gud ako parents palit LCD for gaming. Then what would be the most budget good enough LCD if in case mga bro? prefferably 15".

Response time has decreased over the years, so LCD for gaming isn't as bad as they used to be. When buying one, just make sure it has a reponse time of 8ms or lower.

LCDs have lower max refresh rates compared to CRTs.

I think LCDs cant reach 85hz refresh rates and these high frame rates are important for a high frame rate performance.

60hz lang max sa LCD...

15" LCD is like a 17" CRT, ako samsung 152SM is 2yrs na... la pa probs... 25ms ang response....

playing NFS no probs mn.. pero kung arte ka, get 12ms or faster response 8ms

my lcd can reach 75hz, its syncmaster 740n, its good for gaming. but for very resolutions above 1280x1024. 60hz ra tawn.

go for 17" LCDs most of them are =<12ms response times

but wait, there are less than 5ms soon, i think 2ms...
