@ AmorsoloX - Just give the latest on what is happening to UNO. I am just concerned cause one of the siblings of my close friend is a member of UNO. Even though I am not from UNO. I am still concerned cause they are also a fellow network marketers.
just talked to a friend of mine from BFAD regarding the company... ive got some SHOCKING TRUTH for you guys..

"Instead of putting the BFAD product registration in their product label because it is not yet BFAD approved, they put their LTO# (license to operate), UNO are selling Sodium Ascorbate (ULTIMA-C) as Food supplements instead of labeling them appropriately as drugs"

    definition of terms:
LTO# - basic requirement for ANY food/drug establishment to operate, manufacture, repack, or distribute (registered!!) food/drug products-"its more of a business permit ONLY"
Product registration - approval by BFAD for any foods/drugs to be sold, "individual products require its own product registration"
food supplement - only contains MINIMAL amount of vitamins, minerals and drug components. exceeding this amount will consider the product as DRUGS
Drugs - Any vitamins, minerals and product components exceeding the minimum amount set by BFAD standards.. "500mg is too high for vitamin C to be considered as food supplement"

Product registration should place (FR) for food supplements and (DR) for drug products
ULTIMA-C doesnt even have FR in its label

in the registration of food supplements, BFAD is very lenient.. but is very strict when it comes into registration of drugs. thats why most SODIUM ASCORBATE are labeled food supplement instead of drugs..

(mao ng thru networking gi sell ang ULTIMA-C kay dili man sila allowed mo advertise thru mass media coz wala sila product registration.., so they resort to word-of-mouth marketing)..

they may have applied for product registration but may be pending (permit requires 6months to process, if dugay na UNO, why until now, ala pa sila product registration, probably cguro tungod sa kadagaghan lapses or mybe did not apply in the first place)

wala bro... ang ila license kay para sa ila company na mka sell/operate food/drug products... ila products mismo are not BFAD registered... as long as ila label nga FOOD SUPPLEMENT and NO THERAPEUTIC CLAIMS, maski dili tinood, dili sila strictohon sa BFAD kay leneint ra man regulations para sa food supplements, ambot anang lawsuit.. pwede cguro.. if you like, you can be the one to file the case and earn kay sure win jud nah.. hehehehe

another way to look at it, its like a drugstore selling fake(dili registered sa BFAD) medicine..

ambot kaha uban networks kung naa ba registration..

    Default Vital-C is BFAD registered

Quote Originally Posted by lorenzoleo View Post

yup.. Vital-C sodium ascorbate DR no. DRHR-940 under BFAD

DRHR means "Drug Registered Home Remedy"

we also have the BFAD LTO (license to operate)

vital-C is not labeled as FOOD SUPPLEMENT, because its 500mg vitamin-C.. by BFAD regulations, drug category na cya.. We dont have "NO THERAPEUTIC CLAIMS" in our box because its just like saying na wala effect nga product... by BFAD REGULATIONS pud, tanan forms of vitamin C must be labeled Ascorbic Acid..

vital-C complies with all local regulations and international standards regarding labeling and packaging... thats why nkamarket ang VITAL-C outside the country...

im aware that some companies are selling their sodium ascorbate as food supplement, thats why they put NO APPROVED THERAPEUTIC CLAIMS..(they are actually mislabeling their products) that is para makabarato sila and para dili strict sa quality control ang BFAD.. (kana ila gamit nga capsule containers kay dili pasar sa BFAD),

wala ang uno ultima-C? how bout fern-c?

ill write some more sa thread nga bout Vital-C, kay mas appropriate didtu..

Let's make the story short... I don't really care bout these products whether what brand it is since I don't use them at all... But I can say that UNO products are of less quality. I was able to attend their seminars.. (and i was deceived to be 30 mins only.... ) so in the first place i don't trust UNO at all... they deceive people like for instances: guys! ari mo dri naay kaon party ta... or guys inum ta diri daghan kaayu chix... Unya pagabot... it's all UNO lang pala.. do they really need to deceive us to have more sales and members? ... I lost lots of time and money because of that. Para ra mana sa mga tambay ang UNO... and how would you believe people "TAMBAYS" selling such products?

So how much more about their product? they already deceive us in the first place...

And why can i say that their product is of less quality? first of all... They selling price of their product is very high, but if you are an UNO member you can avail it less 60%... Imagine? so they are only getting 40% out of it.. And to think the cost of raw materials, transportation, packaging, and of course their margin for their profit?

And as a manufacturer.... It's a rule of the thumb to sell your product 100% additional for your profit... Do the math? if they are selling the product at regular price which for example:

    Regular = Php 500.00
    Member = Php 200.00
    Margin for profit = PhP 200 /2 = Php 100...

Think about it... so it's value is only Php 100... so how would you produce a hundred peso worth of hundred capsules? Simply by using cheap raw materials from CHINA....

So how would their company survive in the long run? They can't, that's why they depend so much in recruiting pipz... ALA PYRAMID!

( MY ANALYSIS ONLY.... AYAW KO NINYU KASUHI! AKU RA TAWN OPINION )

And they have this BRAINWASHING seminar.... puro ra kwarta ipakita pirmiro hantod mahuman ang seminar... not even explaining about their products... Unya mura pa jud kulto.... Mag hallelujiah Hallelujiah! nangabuang namu? POWER! POWER! unsa gud na? POWER RANGER? Hey SNAP into reality PEOPLE... Money does not come that easily! and look at their video presentation... same amount and same date tanan... Lahi lahi lang pangalan? coincidence? ... What a DRAMA!

IF YOU WANT GUD VITAMIN C? TAKE GREEN TEA at least 3 times a day.....

Wala diay na silay leadership ug personality development training inig meeting nila?
Dili jud diay na sila mag silbe, kay ang strong na company naa jud silay discussion about how to improved their personality and attitude in terms of marketing and inculcating leadership.

Luoya jud diay sa akong amigo na naa diha, na brainwash na jud diay na nila kay dili na man maminaw sa akong tambag or nagpabungol bungol lang kay wala pa naka bawi sa iyang membership.

here are simple points to see in this company:
    > Sikat karon, ugma dili na
    > kwarta karon, ugma dili na
    > Leaders karon, leaders na pud sa lain companya inig ugma
    > Join karon, ugma join na pud sa pikas company

believe it or not... your present leaders are just hiding this from you. think about it.
