Default Very strange final interview question!

You have been unemployed for the past few months and you really a need a job. So you applied for a job at a certain company. Now this company is well known for giving the biggest salary for any entry level position. So you went there and spent 7 hours of your day working your way through the application process. You passed the preliminary interview and aced all the exams and you finally reached the most difficult part which is also your last chance to prove that your worthy of the position your applying for. So you went on with the final interview answering all the questions as best as you can. Now the interviewer asks you one last question and its:

"How do you beat a child?"

How would you react and respond to this question?

I believe this is a catchy and analytical question, the question should not be taken literally, I believe the right word to use is not "beat" but rather "punish". This question allows the interviewer to know how you are going to approach a situation when you have to reprimand someone in the workplace. If I'm the interviewer I would prefer a more direct approach - to ask "How do you reprimand someone?"

My response would be another question to the employer: "What do you mean by beating a child?"

how do i beat a child? mold and beat him like an egg.. just like you hold an egg beater to totally make the egg yolk supple.. just like the egg.. a child needs to be mold.. firm and supple so that he can grow up the person he/she wants to be.. with proper guidance and support as always...
