naka huna-huna lang ko ba, these slippers are imported from abroad to the phils. and therefore, mo pay ug tax pa ang mga companies ani. i suppose this is factor can add to the selling price sa pinas. so technically, if you buy one, you're not just paying for whatever it is these brands promise (or not) like comfort, durability, etc., you're also paying for the additional tax na gi patong sa price. make your own conclusion nalang...
basta ako, i have a pair of purple spartan-like tsinelas (basta kanang baratohon nga brand ba) that i use everyday, everwhere, pirteng mal-mala na ni nako... sa skwelahan(tga UP ko so pwede ra jd), sa balay, kahit inig kaligo, inig laag2... probably the only time i don't wear them is if mo sulod ko ug establishment na dli pwede mag tsinelas. and 2 years na ni nako. sulit ang 50 pesos nga gi gasto nako para ani. style, comfort, durability and practicality akong na dawat sa akong spartan. besides, dli na ko kinahanglan maghuna-huna ug maggara-gara ug tsinelas esp sa school coz everyone wears them. it's not like you purposely look at someone else's feet and read the brand anyway. tsinelas ra na, one day, you're still going to throw it out coz you can't use it anymore. whether that one day is in a year, or less, or more, that day will still come.
so i say, depende ra na sa imong discarte pag pangita ug tsinelas that your feet like and fits your budget.
