It's alright to pat your back every now and then.thats because there are some questions that dont need to be answered. I think the term is... rhetorical
Would it make a difference if you know?why?

i agree.
prayers with no work is futile. its just like when during exams that you pray so hard to pass but didnt study. you cant expect for answers to just pop up from out of nowhere. instead, you pray for grace so that you can understand your lessons while you're studying. when you're sick, you dont just sit and pray for a miracle to happen when you dont even drink your medicines or go see a doctor. Doctors exist because He gave them the talent to heal people who are sick - its His provision.
its like the story about a guy who a survived a ship wreck. he was floating in the ocean for days. He is a man of faith so he kept on praying for help. a boat passed by and the boatman helped him out of the water. He refused saying, I am a man of faith and i believe that He will save me. So the boatman sailed along. the man prayed and prayed again.the next day, a fisherman passed by and helped him but he also dismissed him saying "i am a man of faith, and i believe He will save me". the fisherman insisted but the stubborn man declined. the night grew and there was a storm. Finally, the man drowned. When he met up with God in heaven, he was furious at him. He lashed out and said "why did you not save me? i have been faithful to you all my life. i go to church every sunday and i always pray just like what you said." and then God answered him, "I sent you two boats but you refuse to accept my help."
prayers alone will not save us. it is very important to pray, but we also have to help ourselves. sabi nga, nasa diyos ang awa nasa tao ang gawa.
that is what you call humility.
its like this, if you did something wrong that would hurt your significant other, wouldnt you be compelled to confess or atleast let him/her know that you did something wrong? its not just letting the other person know of what you did but it is an act of love and respect. by confessing, you acknowledge the fact that you have sinned and is truly sorry for what you did.
but if you confess out of obligation with no bit of remorse, thats as good as nothing.
WOW, you are obviously high on somethin' kebz! Didn't you read my question properly? First things first, it wasn't a statement but a QUESTION... get it? QUESTION!!! You're too eager to answer without even understanding what you are reading. hahay naku! This will be a long conversation if your comprehension is a problem.Originally Posted by kebotDiNaMute
haha... we'll how do you see or know a miracle if no one is asking? Maybe not you but someone does! I guess there are no such things as Miracle Prayers, Pray for Miracle, Miracle of Prayers, Prayers in search of Miracle...Originally Posted by KebotDiNaMute

--- yes, sometimes people pray not for miracles but acceptance of what is going to happen. If miracle happen its a bonus... in our belief trip prayer is a devotion to our God. And that requires us to pray to commune with him. Thats how we value prayers. Any reaction?
