but how do we know what is right and wrong? my basis for right and wrong is based on what religion taught me.

example if i tell a lie, is it right or wrong? surely i would say it is wrong because i learned from the bible that we should not lie.

i see.. so the bible says incest is fine.. so it is moral? genocide is in the bible.. so is it moral? slavery is in the bible.. so is it moral? these are just the few.. it doesn't take a saint to know that these things are immoral...

for me morality is based on the society and its culture. regarding knowledge between good and bad it is innate in any person unless of course if the person is a sociopath.

We need to consider the culture of the time when a literature was created, way back those times, even premarital s3x could be immoral or could be moral, because morality is only maintained by the culture of a certain place over a certain period of time.

What is immoral now could have been moral way back then and vice versa.

It's very immoral for other race/culture for their woman to show a lot of skin, here in our place (and thank god for that ) our woman is free to express themselves and show off as much flesh as they want, and boy we even love it.
