From what Ive read, India is just adjusting to their problems in maintaining call centers. The more contracts they dont take, the more contracts go elsewhere like(and most likely) the Philippines. And I think the main reason, theyre losing cash is because they are having difficulties in metrics with regards to customer satisfaction w/ respect to communication(grabe kalisod sabton, maski ang Indian trainer mismo thick gihapon ang accent). Thats why halos pang IVR jobs nlng ang ilaha. And most of the time American callers will get irrate when they get Indian agents, cant blame them.

Nya kay di man nila makuha ang metrics, imbis cla na bayran sa company, cla na noon magbayad so perti jung lugi-a, nya ka afford naman sad mo pressure ang American companies kay they have alternatives naman. So ila nalang jung buy-an.

So dako gihapn ug future ang call center diri sa Pinas. Kay murag ang tanang major call centers dinhi sa Cebu nagcge ra expand, aron ma accomodate ang gipangturn down sa India.

but the problem is how many job applicants qualify?

also india has the ideal time difference..... its a little past afternoon in India when its morning in new york.... so they don't work on a graveyard shift.....

and india is also moving up in the outsourcing business.... they get more juicy contracts compared to call centers.....

yeah thats a problem here right now, gamay rajud ang qualified applicants. Last Ive read in the news its 3-5/100 daw.

And about the time difference for me ok raman, basta disiplina lang jud, kay gabii man ang work so hapon hangtod 9pm matulog jud ko. wa pko kasuway nagwork nga less than 5hrs ang sleep.

And about the other juicy contracts,(as Ive said in one of your posts) follow the bandwagon nasad ta! and Im sure those who arent qualified to be agents can fit in those departments as well, and the pay might not be that high since the labor pool for it is quite big
