guys, let's not stoop down to her level. she seems to be not only naive but hungry for attention.
i have only this to say to her: girl, you're not even worthy to kiss Cory's ass!

she was to name a few a leader, a political icon and a strong pillar of society. there is even buzz of making her a saint because of the miracle of people power and her strong devotion to God. even world leaders are in awe of her. not just the Filipinos but other people in the world were touched by her in one way or another.

now, who are you? what have you done that gives you the right and privilege to question her legacy?

the fuss is all about cory?why?because she was the president before?

people keep comparing her to gma, they say that she is better this and better that, but from my point of view, she is miles away from gloria, she only became president because her husband was shot. and nothing more, she was underqualified. didnt know what to do. and sucked being a politician and a leader.

so she got cancer, whats the big deal?shes one of the unlucky people who got it, it doesnt make her special.

she just got the sympathy of the people because of ninoy and nothing more. the filipinos always go for the underdog (trillanes), without even thinking if the bitch deserves or has the quality to be a president

the simple fact that you are able to rant about a former president is brought about by Cory's presidency.

You probably never experienced martial law which why you act like this. Cory did not win just because she was the wife of Ninoy, she won because the Filipinos chose her to run against a tyrrant. Who knows the plans and aspirations of Ninoy for the Filipino people, better than his wife?

- By being "just a housewife", she became the perfect icon for democracy and the democratic processes.

- She was the first woman to become a president in Asia. The fact that Filipinos chose her to become the leader of the country during a time when the males dominated the political arena makes this an achievement.

- She pushed for micro-financing for the poor to help them become entrepreneurs and uplift their standard of living. In fact up until she was hospitalized she actively campaigned for micro-financing throught the Benigno Aquino Foundation.

- She withstood 9 coup d'etat attempts.

- She stepped down quietly and moved on as a normal citizen. What makes this an achievement? She declined invitations from different groups to run again as President, stating that the change of power will make the Filipinos regain the trust of the electoral process.

- She signed the Writ to Herbeas Corpus. Which was unheard of since the declaration of Martial Law in 1972.

there are but some of her achievements.
