I think not. The intent of Jesus was to give people hope to the marginalize in the society. We are not to fight evil in this world but find a way to survive it without losing our souls in the process. Fighting evil to rid the world of it is pointless since it is not in our power to stop it. How can we stop something that God allows it to exists in the first place?
