ok your point is indeed correct regarding ISO and COIN is not just happening in mindanao,,but the question is ISO and COIN operations in visayas and luzon are far defferent in mindanao sir..visayas iso and coin operation are in need more of huey rather than MG or MD,,they are more on surgical operation small unit operation,,guirela operation not a conventional war operation like in mindanao..i maybee wrong my opinion is base on what i read ,saw and heard,,

they are station in mactan as mactan is in the center..

i didn't say that mindanao is less priority... it's just that the number is not enough i just put the figure if ever we get this... it's not really enough....

if only we are not an archipelago then it would be much easier to station it here in cebu....

yes mindanao is priority but ISO is not just mindanao but the whole country itself...

i still want to have cobra if the number is more higher than six like 8 or 10 but six, no way i would rather have 12 MG, i just hope soon they could we come up with better Hi-Lo/Lo-Hi mix doctrine if they ever want to get 6 Cobra....

for now ill be just realistic... 12 is better than 6 if the mission is for CAS, well cobra maybe had higher survivability rate compared to MG but the MG can still performed what the cobra intended to do...

again ISO and COIN is not just happening in mindanao.

not all MG are station on zamboanga most of them all from mactan...

the US army learn this mistake when they put most of their asset in one area... during tet offensive...

if the number is not enough then put that assets to where it would be more useful,,by the way were not subtracting were adding assets

i am not against MG my point is refurbish or new cobra attach heli can provide more fire power ang more morale for our troops on the ground that the important thing,we have to move on..

OV-10 "bronco", is what pinas needs, stol capable, can carry troops, weapons load depends on the mission. lets see whats ur pics (A-10) is loaded up to.. from sta.1 (left wing) ecm pod, can't really see the next one, agm-65, 4 500 pounder slicks, agm-65 & 2 aim-9 sidewinders...in the front is 30mil gun. the "shadow" under the cockpit is a trick canopy paint job, makes the other guys thinks that you are turning on him..
