It's so hard to tell who is the better president. If you ask me, both Cory and Arroyo are among the worst, if you compare the bottom of the barrel with the muck underneath it, it becomes quite difficult to tell which is worse...

Cory was said to have spent more time doing mah-jong than actually running the country. I would normally be skeptical of such rumors, but her absolute neglect of obviously important things like planning and building enough power plants so our economy doesn't implode make me more likely to believe such rumors than not. Has everyone forgotten the massive 12-hour blackouts that are the direct result of Cory's mismanagement of our economy?

I think we need to stop making excuses for our leaders. Crass incompetence in one area cannot be negated or excused by achievements in another area... The Americans don't do it, the Koreans don't either, and the Japanese most certainly do not. We should stop saying, "Oh she made a mistake here or there, but she restored democracy?" Come on! Let's raise our standards so we can raise our standard of living!

.. hands down to monrose. you're absolutely right. Cory and Gloria are on different eras. No point really on comparing them. but they only have one thing in common. neither is supported by the people.
