Nice find.. it does show how intelligent the people who wrote the bible it is as they say man's first poor attempt in making sense of everything which is science. And we shouldn't deny their achievements albeit not enough but a good try though. And like any other science books that are behind its times and outdated it should be laid aside.

This is a good example of how polarizing a discussion kills it off and prevents any new insight. I don't mean that you are personally trying to kill discussion, I mean that what usually happens in the "religion versus science" debate (if you can call it a debate) is that religionists don't bother to read any science and scientists don't bother to read any religion yet both presume to understand the other and just start off with "you're wrong."

No wonder nothing good comes of that.
