during cory's time, ang problema sa marcos' administration iyang gi-face...

arroyo's time, problema gikan sa kang FVR and Erap ang iyang gi-face.

now which is harder to solve?

    EXCHANGE RATE
i don't care less about exchange rate as to our way of living here... i'm spending peso. My care is can i buy more of my peso now?
Uh huh, just take a look at many of the products in your nearest sari-sari store. Everything is getting cheaper because of the competition. From shampoos to concentrated juices etc.

Haven't you noticed the 25-30% promotions in many of the product? How about the new Cheaper medicine bill? Are you aware of those things? I thought you have a touch with reality? Hmmmmmmmmm........

When it comes to other things like electricity and petroleum, it's not GMA who dictates, it's the market.

    GDP
wow nice figures... but does the number of our poor people deminish or it worsens?
Diminish, but it depends on what type of poor you are talking about.

It will be felt on those people who are working/or those with business, not the ones who keeps on gambling/womanizing in the streets.
    Jobs
unemployment problem is there way before the global financial crisis. you are right... people leave for greener pastures, why is that? because in our own country it is no longer green anymore? I thought we have great economy under her watch.
What kind of statement is that ?

We have a growing economy, but some people are not contented with the salary here, so they seek other places where they can earn more. Isn't it obvious.
i can watch all this figures, but i was wondering why the wealth gap is still so wide? i'm not in denial here or i am clueless.
Why doubt the figures? the figures represents a sign of improvement, plus those are facts(unlike surveys), whether you hate the authority or not, you have to insert it in your head.

I find your question very illogical indeed, wealth gap?! it's like commie questioning capitalist standards. You should read the flops of Mao's Great leap forward so that you'll understand why equally distributed wealth is bad. Any businessmen will laugh at that question.
during cory's time most of the filipinos are full of hope, democracy was restored, a sign of that hope is that fvr was able to label the philippines as new tiger economy of asia.
uh huh, but what our country needs right now is performance not hopes or childish inspirations.
but after erap, hope was again lost.
you mean there was hope when Erap was busy looting our beloved nation?! (gasps heavily)

OMG!! are you nuts?? where do you think you get your imported stuff?? i dont suppose you buy "all filipino" products? huh? from your clothes, to the simple stuff the philippines is importing as it should and exporting as it should that is the concept of trade and GLOBALIZATION, read up on that....its an ignorant way to say "ooo im spending peso," when all the most of the world is trading in dollars.....guess what the DOLLAR RATE and the AMERICAN economy does affect the PESO...

    GDP
wow nice figures... but does the number of our poor people deminish or it worsens?
the government can only do so much to help the poor, people must help themselves before they can achieve...we are not a first world country where we can just give pension because people want it.....we have better things to spend the money on where a lot of people will benefit as a whole

Since you want to make it graphic picture this...what PGMA has done for our economy lately is turn the arid, dry, and infertile soil the previous administrations had left behind....into something plantable(not fertile mind you) but plantable...she planted seeds for the economy and it primarily up to US, and the next administration how they want to take care of those seeds she planted. We cannot see the grains of wheat now, but with work and cooperation we can definitely achieve and see the fruits of LABOR. What people can't understand is that you cant just feel these effects right away, it takes time and more work....

i can watch all this figures, but i was wondering why the wealth gap is still so wide? i'm not in denial here or i am clueless.
This is what happens after 3 administrations who have not strengthened our economy....Imagine for 25 years our birthrate was actually exceeding our income....if that doesnt get us poor i dont know what will

more like a cat than a tiger...kudos to cory for being a champion for democracy, but i believe ninoy should be given praise for that, cory was the beneficiary....if ninoy wasn't a martyr, it would be him not cory in the presidency....i dont want to take anything from cory, she was the one cleaned up the garbage after marcos....

yeah like the occurrence of Asian financial crisis when in 1998 the Philippine
growth virtually dropped zero?...how do you compare it to present Philippines
    amidst Global recession?..see the figures?

cory's 'honasan coup d'etat' and arroyo's 'trillanes manila peninsula siege'?
was there a difference?on fatalities maybe, but no, just a common thing,
their leaders just wanted government office....

dont be surprised of the constant whining of militant strike groups and political
strategies of every critics of the past to present..they spare no administration
of their unending criticism and discontent...

perhaps the best way to point out their difference is to see how they stood out
and struggled amidsts setbacks and apparent deterrence...

Cory had a hard time leading her " men ", maong nagka kudeta sa iyang panahon.
Tita Glo had a strong grip on her " dogs " chains. they can't even bark!
