for me mao jud.... pero sure jud na nga himuon nga isyu sa mga walay lingaw.... and in the first place.... ang himoong battlecry ana is ang question nga "is he a filipino?" maski na ug mas buotan pa cya sa pinaka askal nga pinoy diri.... ang pwede cguro is pa dula-on cya as "temporary" lang.... kanang dili jud full rights nga same as other pure pinoys.....

why won't you let him play? for me PBA is not only for filipinos, just like the NBA, they have international players in teams, not only americans. thats why philippine basketball is not improving.

for me.. it's good for the pba to let alex play and besides what he earns in the pba goes to charitable institutions maybe more than half goes to charitable institutions. and it will also make the league more competetive.. boring na kaayo tan-awon nang mga pinoy/fil-am nga dagko ug contract tapulan na modagan, mahadlok na ma injured. ildefonso, duremdes, aquino, andy seigle to name a few.. unya na maningkamot kng hapit na mo end ang contract.

@kamandag: absolutely correct, daghan gyud maka benefit sa iya salary sa PBA nga pinoy kay kusog kaayo na mutabang tawhana. Dili lang gyud ta kalikay nga himuan ug issue kay daghan man close minded unya nga masuya.

it will be good for the league. i'm not sure if compton will be drafted coz if the trade for samigue eman(kadtng 6'9 nga taga davao) from welcoat(has the right for him 3 years ago) for alex compton of montana will push through it is possible compton will be elevated by welcoat if the trade does not push through then compton might apply for the draft.. hopefully they will allow him to play..

definitely. Compton's advent into the Philippines primary basketball league would be a positive addition.

I am not sure about this but i hear that he was born here. Correct me if i am wrong, but isn't that enough qualification for one to be considered a Filipino according to our laws?

but to play in the pba as a local.. you must have atleast one parent who is a filipino unlike compton whose parents are americans. alex compton was just born here in the philippines.
