i didn't know they were the band behind "mmmm mmmm mmmm mmmm" until they played at Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour with violinist/whistler/songwriter Andrew Bird.

nice band... They're Canadian yet they sound southern... They're like the modern version of The Band but leans more toward alt.rock than The Band's more americana sound (and as ironic as it is, most of my favorite Americana artists are actually Canadian because they're better than their U.S. counterpart. But then it's just my opinion. For every Ryan Adams there's Justin Rutledge, and for every Crooked Still, there's Yonder Hill)

But for every Wilco, there's no other... hehehehe
