OP, you should be aware that even how powerful your VC is, it fares a little in GTA IV if you dont have a 4 core processor. A quad core processor will do. GTA IV is not reliant on the VC.

the settings that it could take is Medium for the Texture, View Distance is Low...
i have an acer core 2 duo 2.2.....
i guess buying gta4 is a stupid thing to do then... you will need a really expensive upgrade for this...

I played GTA 4 in my old E2180 and HD 2400 in 20 frames and it was terrible. At least the unique gameplay took place, I finished the game at 20 fps :P
