    Default Bariatric Medicine

May nakarinig naba nito sa inyo? Kasi ang ate ko ay nag-a-undergo daw ng ganitong process sa US. Mataba sya dati at ngayon she lost a lot of weight cuz of Bariatric Medicine. May ganito ba dito sa atin? Kasi mukhang effective e. I searched oonline about it and read that it is good and really effective at medyo mahawig sa lipo pero 100% safe. Any experience about this or have you heard about this? Let me know para masabihan ko ang nakakatanda kong kapatid. Thanks.

what kind of bariatric surgery did your sister undergo? meron kasing lap banding, may gastric bypass at may gastric sleeve... may risk din ito like any other surgery.... most of the bariatric patients come to our floor after surgery.... for me personally, i wouldn't advise someone to undergo such a procedure to lose weight... true there are success stories of men and women losing weight after surgery without any complications ... usually they stay in the hospital for 1-3 days depending on what surgery was done.... they would initially start out just drinking water all day (sometimes 2 days) then thick liquids hanggang sa pwede na sila makakain ng solid....kaya minsan, gutom sila....kaya nyo yun kung tubig lang? most bariatric pts that we see come back to our floor because of dehydration and infection. yun ang pinaka-common.... pabalik ng balik sila sa hospital dahil doon... meron akong nakita na patient na nag-lose nga siya ng weight pero it was so drastic to the point that she looks like an old woman... meron din kaming pt na namatay dahil sa complication... with any surgery, there is a risk of embolism...at yun ang nangyari sa pt na yun....meron din kaming pt na pabalik ng pabalik sa hospital because of abdominal pain... hindi maintindihan ng doctor kung bakit... nag-endoscopy, nag cat scan etc pero di ma pinpoint kung bakit... hanggang sa isang araw bumalik siya na butas na yung stomach niya (what's left of it) ...kaya ginawa na naman uli yung surgery to repair it... hanggang sa tuluyan na siyang na-hook sa pain meds... eh dito pa naman sa US narcotics talaga binibigay for pain meds.... sa atin eh nsaids lang.... at saka prior to undergoing bariatric surgery, may psychological testing sila na ina-undergo dito sa US.... at saka may qualificarions bago ma-cover ng insurance yung bariatric surgery.... it's a long process if you decide to undergo that kind of surgery..... dapat prepared ka financially, physically and most importantly psychologically...

kung gusto mo more info about it i-google mo lap banding, gastric bypass and gastric sleeve...

Gastryc bypass ang ginawa sa kanya. Napaka delikado pala nito noh? Thanks for the comment. Agad kong sasabihin sa ate ko ito. Salamat!
