Call Center agents, how do you build rapport with customers?

hayy.. rapport.. labi nah mag reinstall drivers, nah, sumtyms mo take jud 1 hour, esp if y cd ang cust...

saun akong buhaton, mangutana kog something about sa family sa cust, mo sabay rna if naa sa gud mood, if dili, di nlng ko mag pa toga2..

ako friend ky iya ingnan iya mga custs iya bday karon (everyday n cya mag bday, except sa iya RD..hehe) mo greet mn jud nang cust bah..nya, start conversation... daghan bya kag ma learn pud nila..basta iappreciate ra pud ila gpangsulti (except kung gi lait nka, of corz, lahi nah na)

ako mag build kog rapport pra malingaw koh,,ky kung dead air, dili lang ang cust ang boringan, bsag ang agent..heheheh

building rapport at times... can be of both ways u may benefit or not..... if the client is open to any ideas when u open up a topic while doing the OSRI that is ok but f not.... then continue with the OSRI and dnt mind him....

taas2x lang nag ATT sa akong stats..

what the customer really wants is how effective you can resolve his/her issues.. chitchats dont count to them.. as long as the job gets done.. that's what matters in the end...

I agree...never talk about race, religion and politics....I have had one agent during the language assessment, he talked about Bob Marley and he idolizes him because he stood against the white people....toinks...that was his last day in our company....hehehe
