i study paganism for their historical value, that's all. i'm very interested in history and origins. the word "occult" should NOT be synonymous with something derogatory or diabolical. it simply means HIDDEN. it may be synonymous with Esoteric as its meaning is not open to the general public because maybe it simply depends on the level of understanding of the individual.
