Why do Girls feel the need to lead Guys on?

the "need?" .. i don't think girls needs to lead the guys on, most especially if the guy is very mature and responsible.. if there are instances that girls would lead guys.. for instance, maybe a guy doesn't know how to cook, then the girl does.. of course, the girl would feel the need to help the guy to cook.. ^_^

pero when it comes to situations that the girl is already trying to manipulate the guy, its another story..
