Just make sure you have a PCI-E 2.0 compliant board. Because just like me, I can't harness the power of this card because of that problem :P

Wala pa bay. Mao nay lapses sa HD 4770 katong May-June batches. Pero its not a hindrance. If ganahan gyud ka mag-1680x1050 I suggest you xfire 2 of it. If mogawas ang bag-ong batch sa 4770 im pretty sure mahal-mahal siya ug gamay compared sa old 4770.

its not yet out. basin dili pa gani ipagawas. ang ako prediction is that hd 4770's will still be released but dili ang 256bit edition. unless someone here from ati confirms it :P

and yes, if 4770 was 256-bit it would literally wipe the 4830 and 4850 out in the face of the earth.(PS: even gts250. listen to the advice dog to the left lol)

5% raman sad labaw sa HD4850 tapos 100% more power consumed , not worth it IMO

it is logically possible gyud nga ila ning ma realse as 256 bit... basin ki tuyo nila nga 128 para mahurot sa ka kahalin ilng excess 55nm GPUs nga naa pa sa market...
( the HD4730 is a good example of recycling thier excess weapons against the war with Nvidia )

or basin HD4770 was a tease to nvidia... its like ilang ki hagad ug gubat

It's possible, but what if it goes face to face with an ati HD 4850 GDDR5 version? The HD 4850 still has the upper hand in stream/shader processing. The HD 4770 is 160 short of stream processors <it only has 640> vs the HD 4850's 800 and 8 short of texture units <40 vs 32 on the HD 4770>. Going to the 256-bit interface will cost more money, thus it will be sold at a much higher price. Which basically will lose its price/performance value.

there won't be a 256-bit version of the 4770. ati will be shooting itself in the foot if it releases a 256-bit version.

the crossfired hd 4770 is better than a single 4890, and two 4770s are much cheaper than a single 4890.

    two 4770s = P10,400
    one 4890 = P12,900
