Reminder poorprince23, franklin and everyone else, please keep true to the topic of this thread.... Korea ang gibasihan hindi America.

True in many ways, South Korea is progressive in the past decade. It's because of their strong pride in their nation and their culture. If we all just have the same kind of national attitude maybe things will just be a bit better for us.

And once again, i believe the title of this topic is absurd.

South Korea was as corrupt or worst(Korea grow much faster than the Philippines) Why is that? South Korea back then was dirt cheap after WW2 and see what they did less 50 years. The philippines is not really a homogeneous country where everybody looks the same and speak the same languages(most refer to them as dialects). It would have been better if all spoke the same language. Also it would have been great if the philippines wasn't made of 7,107 islands.

Who doesn't want progress?! Cebu can stand on its own. It doesn't need a foreign "buyer" to be progressive. I don't have any angst, anger, or discrimination about foreign people.

The thought of "selling" sounds whorish/sluttish. It's like selling your flesh for some paper. Selling Cebu is one of the craziest idea. I don't think Cebu is less than any monetary unit. I look at Cebu with huge amount of pride. I swell with pride when I thought of Cebu's success.

Tsk. isn't it sad that Cebu and its citizens costs only bucks? Cebu and its citizens, I believe, is more than that.

Oh well, I'm just a fraction of opinion here.

for those who want to sell Cebu to Korea?!? i suggest that better for you to migrate and marry a Korean and be a naturalized citizen (that is, if their law allows)...and forget about Cebu or Philippines for the rest of your life!
