In the "evolutionary tree", the root of the tree represents the ancestral lineage, and the tips of the branches represent the descendents of that ancestor. So, as the branches grow all the species (including humans) lineage splits or speciation, it is represented by phylogeny. When a speciation event occurs, a single ancestral lineage gives rise to two or more specimen of lineages. Phylogenies trace patterns of shared ancestry between lineages. Each lineage has a part of its history that is unique to it alone and parts that are shared with other lineages. Similarly, each lineage has ancestors that are unique to that lineage and ancestors that are shared with other lineages or common ancestors - we are in the sense not above or below them.

I hope this helps bro. But don't take my word for it, we have differentiations of the terms involved. You can look for more information... libraries or internet.
thanks sa imu explanation bro, naa nko nahibaloan...

Every living animal has his own intelligence. Some animals are more evolved than others in terms of the cognitive faculties like the Dolphins!

The question should be, Are we intelligent the in the animal kingdom? I think that the real problem is how we define intelligence. Most intelligence tests are based on problem solving or pattern recognition which are very human traits anyway, so we're going to do well by default.

If you had to fly from cebu to japan without any navigational aids you'd get lost pretty quickly, but birds do it without any problem. Is this a form of intelligence? You decide.

Douglas Adams famously wrote: " Humans thought they were more intelligent than dolphins because of motorcars, war etc. Dolphins thought they were more intelligent for the same reasons."

The point is that we are very anthropomorphic when thinking about animal intelligence. We have become advanced technologically, but not enough to live in harmony with each other or our environment.

Oh btw, this is evolution too.
