I cannot mention the institution. It did not surprise me actually. When one is not in conformity or challenges a prescribed doctrine or dogma, almost always you get branded for promoting apostasy. And yes, bluedes is right ... there is no freedom of thought in religion from (my) point of experience. Okay ra man pod ko. It is very liberating when one is not intellectually subjugated. Religion can be a terrible prison wall to a seeking soul.
