Proposal to formed a Society/fraternity?

Im using a different name. Been visiting this section, but I love the general and current event sections, and I thought, the people here are quite intelligent. We can use some brains here for positive and productive ideals. So why not create a sort of fraternity or Society?

Read a thread about Masonry and theosophy, well those groups have quite a good name but in our own dialect 'karaan' na, no offense to the members. Why dont you guys formed a society? group yourselves together and give your ideas then who knows what may come out of it.

We might use the SPIRITUALITY & OCCULT Section in Istorya as part of of the group called BOOK LOVERS CLUB! We can meet and discuss any book which is based on Spirituality & Occult, Philosophy, Science and Religion!

How about that? I suggest we can talk in a coffee shop or anywhere as long as there is enough SILENCE and conducive atmosphere for LEARNING!

My objectives? Brotherhood. A Society or Fraternity w/c is based on virtuous principles, I thought would be good. Going beyond the boundaries of Creed, Culture and Religion but keeping and uplifting the VALUES that makes us humans can also be a good objective.

Sa binasaya pa. Ang atong pagka tao ang mapatigbabaw ug dili ang mga doktrina o edolohiya o kultura nga atong gisagop.

Focus on Human development. Mangifying our awareness for greatness. Do Socio-civic activities. Run for politics .


Actually sige nako og basa sa inyong mga threads. I recommend Regnauld, Brownprose, Hellblazer to spearhead this plan. Why them? Reg, i believe is a Theosophist and at the same time a professor. Brownprose is a product of a University that teaches Christian Theology and at the same time I believe, is also a professor. Hellblazer, well, he is a Mason, maybe he can teach us how we should structure the Scociety w/o incorporating any Masonic elements.

Those are my choices. The rest can help, like: Malic, bluedes, Sinyalan, Munzter, Nasyo and etc.

That's a good idea. But taking it a little further would be better. Sealing the brotherhood through initiation rites can be very empowering. In Book clubs, no offense, after the discussion we leave the connection behind us but in a fraternity/Society, we bring the connection with us everywhere we go.
