WTF! What kind of thread title is this?!

Though I'm not from Cebu, the thread title is so annoying. Sigh. May Zeus, Thor and God struck a thousand of lightning bolts to those who make annoying thread titles just to get lotsa attention and replies.

Selling Cebu to Korea sounds like making Cebu as Korea's whore! Hmm, how about selling Philippines to USA for an ultimate slut?!

If USA will buy Cebu why not? Cebuanos no need to apply for a visa if that happens. Means free trade na ta sa US. Haleeer! ok ka ra sa imong gipang sulti. I think the americans the best people to be with. They think of other people's welfare. Try working in an american firm, it offers greater salary, more benefits, justifiable working hours(usually no work during saturdays and sundays), appropriate insurance and good working environment. Try to compare it with other foreign employers and you will see the difference. And selling philippines for an ultimate slut?! How can you say that? Americans don't treat of filipinos in the us as slaves.They even fight for animal rights, what more for human rights. There might be discrimination by some americans but not all. .Â* Discrimation happens everywhere even here. Some filipinos discriminate black people and even people from asia(indian nationals, pakistanis).

Who doesn't want progress?! Cebu can stand on its own. It doesn't need a foreign "buyer" to be progressive. I don't have any angst, anger, or discrimination about foreign people.

The thought of "selling" sounds whorish/sluttish. It's like selling your flesh for some paper. Selling Cebu is one of the craziest idea. I don't think Cebu is less than any monetary unit. I look at Cebu with huge amount of pride. I swell with pride when I thought of Cebu's success.

Tsk. isn't it sad that Cebu and its citizens costs only bucks? Cebu and its citizens, I believe, is more than that.

Oh well, I'm just a fraction of opinion here.

Mah beloved franklin, do you only see the negative aspects of Cebu? True, there are ugly sites but there are beautiful spots too. I believe all countries have those. There is no "Perfect Country" or "Perfect Place.". Why not try to focus on the positive sites? I've never set my feet on Cebu but I believe Cebu is one of the greatest place here on earth. I have faith in Cebu. I hope you do too. It's just disappointing that SOME people wants to sell it. Tsk.Â*
