    @jackdi: kakuyaw pod sa company sa imo migo oi.. sa amo company kay istoryahan jud hinuon ka in person sa GM why this thing happen and how the global downturn is affecting the company blah blah, then tagaan pod hinuon mi ok nga package..

    mga hiring pod karon is mostly singaporeans or PR ra jud.. pwde ra man hinuon ko mo join sa company sa any of my clients but i think there will be a big difference sa pay jud.. faetch! mo uli lang usa ko ani sa pinas oi and relax.. hehehe

    guys, naa ko question ninyo:

    if in your contract it's stated there that the required notice period is 2 months, does that mean you are also entitled of 2 months salary upon receiving the 1-day notice of termination?

    ako na hear man gud sa mga na retrench namo nga kauban from other countries, they received 1 month salary (in lieu of the notice period) + 1 month salary for each year of stay in the company... i think sa ila case 1 month notice period ra ilaha... hmmmm.. i wonder..

    ma local man o PR, lisod jud gihapon pangita job...

    ako migo pud converted from PR to citizen na retreanch two months ago till now no job, part-time lang una sa subway hehehe...

    guys, disregard my question above.. i already got the answer.. yes, we are entitled to receive according to the notice period + extra pay (company discretion) upon retrenchment..

    Times like this, mao nani ang advantage nga akong giingon kung PR ka kay dili ka papaulion. Depende nalang gyud na sa imong paninguha ug swerte ug pangaplay ug laing trabaho. Ang importante nga naa pa gihapon ka sa Singapore. Friendly advise kung wala paka ma-retrench or retrench naka nya makakita naka ug laing trabaho, don't waste time, apply dayon ug PR myentras sayon pa kaayo ma-approve ron panahuna. ... hehe

    @nowayl: i have no plans of becoming PR bro.. hehehe.. i guess depende na sa tao unsa ila mga plano.. i agree with you though, nga maau jud mag PR for those who are looking at staying here for quite some time..

    sakto gyud ka bosing. apply nalang ko PR ani oi basin pa diay till december pa ko diri..kulba-an na gyud ko..hahai

    advantage lang pag PR kay makastay sa singapore ug dugay kung mawad an ug trabaho. pero dili man guarantee nga makakita dayon ka ug trabaho kung PR ka.
