Yeah well, i am not a Krav Maga guy....I am more of a FMA/Eskrima and Bujinkan (Ninjutsu) guy....

No, i dont have a Gym./Dojo i teach in Ayala Park or in my home in Happy Valley, that also works fine since there is a lot of one-on-one in Villasin Balintawak......

The style i teach is Villasin Balintawak mixed with parts from Bujinkan (Ninjutsu) and the Dacayana Eskrima System (a mix of San Miguel Eskrima, Combat Judo and Wing Chun).....
That means you get a good mix of FMA/Eskrima and Ninjutsu (Bujinkan), which i think you might like if you are looking for streetwise Martial Arts.....

But if you like to try it out just PM me, E-mail me: webmaster@fma-arnis.dk or use my E-form at my website: Contact | www.fma-arnis.dk
Then we will find a day and time that works for both of us.....

The only problems by trying to shoot back is:

Most people dont carry their guns all the time, your (F)MA you have with you all the time....

You risk getting shot by a Police Officer or Guard, that thinks you are a bad guy if you carry a gun.....

You risk a long jail time (maybe even life), if you shot someone and try to defend your self (time where your family would be without their main income)......

You risk shooting a innocent bystander in cross-fire.....

Hey Jan Jensen, do you own a firearm? do you know its safeties and responsibility when you own one?

if you does not own one, then your conclusions to my reply is very debatable. And if we will have a debate here, it's endless. you know what i mean?

from your reply, it seems you don't own one.

And you know what, your replies are very big insult to us responsible gun owners.

Expand you knowledge on firearm ownership before having those nonsense replies

this is my wild guess. Check your pocket, you have a pepper spray inside isn't it?

What i said was true, your reactions just proves my case....
You have no good answer, no facts, so you just start calling me insulting instead......

You say if i dont own a firearm then the respons i gave is debatable, well then tell me what has:

"Most people dont carry their guns all the time, your (F)MA you have with you all the time..."

To do with me owning a gun? I know many people who owns guns, do you think they carry them? NO....

    What about this one:

"You risk getting shot by a Police Officer or Guard, that thinks you are a bad guy if you carry a gun...."

What does that have to do with me owning a gun? I will tell you, nothing.....
The same goes with this one:

"You risk a long jail time (maybe even life), if you shot someone and try to defend your self (time where your family would be without their main income)......"

The only one you could really say had something to do with me owning a gun is this one, but are you telling me you NEVER miss a shoot?

"You risk shooting a innocent bystander in cross-fire....."

If you do sometimes miss (like i did when i was shooting and most people do sometimes), then i can tell you i was right about above and it was in no way insulting.............

There is a difference between using Metsubishi techniques (and in a modern version pepper spray), which i have mentioned many times here in this forum that we use within Bujinkan (Ninjutsu) and then needing it.....
Sure i also use our Metsubishi (which is more then just pepper spray by the way), since its a part of our style.....

But i have many techniques and i dont need Metsubishi to defend my self, not at all....

I am a martial artist that mainly practice karate and doce pares, although I haven't been into street fights, and I am not planning to get into one, nag sige pa gihapon ko ug practice to learn good enough skills to defend myself in case ug "parigla" or any other situations I can't get out of.

Nahitabo I have a friend who was practicing brazillian jiu jutsu and he convinced me to practice the art not only because it is now very popular pero grabe sad kuno ka epektibo. His name is Allan Mateo if you know him, he practices Brazillian Jiu Jutsu in pajac lapu2x.

Last week, Nag bisikleta siya diha sa may reclamation area near sm city cebu. Na shock lang ko kay gi pareglahan kuno siya then na dunggaban. Na unsa pag ka unsaa nga maayo man kaayo to siya ug martial arts. My friends told me that dili kuno practical iyang style sa paregla nga style because, tackling and take down is good for 1 on 1 fights not for multiple opponents. So scenario nila nga samtang nag tackle siya ug usa ka tawo, gi dungab kini siya sa likod sa uban niining kauban...

So my question is, is this true about brazilian martial arts? I am still thinking about practicing the art pero for 1k per month, I think I will invest into much more interesting and much more practical techniques out there. Naa basad tay filipino martial arts that can do this, I mean I am satisfied with the techniques of dose pares and it goes well with the explosive power of karate, but Im sure there are still a lot more techniques I have to know.

By the way I know aikido is the first suggestion that will be given but I tell you I tried practicing aikido, it is just not for me, I think it is because aikido is a direct opposite of the principles of karate which I have been practicing since I was young.

Hope you can help me, please feel free to offer your suggestions. thanks.
you already have techniques that can help you in a street fight... why don't you try improving it... make it pactical on the streets... I am mainly a karate person... and for me that is all I need to defend myself in the street fights I have been to.
