illness - medical science
natural calamity - georaphic science
financial crisis - economic science
terrorism - military science

therefore,
religion is useless when badthings happen, knowledge does everything. Science is the the only way. The truth and the life. for the lolz

religion provides spiritual needs when bad things happen . it gives comfort ,hope and faith that everythings gonna be OK.

but u can still aquire the following needs without religion. such as applying faith.

On the other hand no matter how comfortable u will be . it will not solve the problem when bad things happen.
