and i think Freddie made the sentiments of real Filipino artists (not the copycats and wannabes performing on noontime tvs) more audible. it was a courageous act for him knowing daghan kaayog fans iyang gitirahan. Go Ka Freddie!

I dont think Arnel is a copycat hes just hired by Journey to be their singer and Neil Schon/Jonathan Cain writes their songs so dont expect him to perform tagalog songs or sing Journey's songs in a different way. maybe in the future he will have more say in the band and suggest they sing tagalog but i dont see that happening soon. before Journey he was in a band named Zoo they also sing tagalog songs and here he doesnt sound like Steve Perry but himself. he may be labeled a copycat in Journey by sounding like Steve Perry and singing their songs the same way but thats what he needed to do.

Charise on her part do not decide on what she sings abroad. its the producers of Oprah, Ellen De Generes, etc who decides that and dont expect David Foster to compose songs for her in tagalog. this international exposure is the one that gave her a break ang shes still so young so let her be. again maybe in the future she can have more say on what she wants to sing.

Maybe Freddie just wants to point out a reality that is happening to the entertainment industry but he picked bad examples in Arnel and Charise illiciting all these negative reactions and critisism on him. but then again in showbiz any publicity whether good or bad is still publicity so he still got something out of it. he terribly needs it.
