It was brave of him to come out with his sexual orientation. He did this inspite of the fact that he knew he might be ridiculed and there will be endless gossip. In a society like ours, where we put so much importance to what others might say, he did what he felt was right without minding the probable consequences.

And ironically, he became a bigger man by doing so.

He certainly earned my respect.
