why write it in uClinux, so this smart sys will SHOULD be open source!?
Correct me if I'm wrong, gamit lang guro nila ang uClinux as kernel nya iyang tools para create sa smart system so dli kaylangan hasta ang source code sa smart sys e open source. Dunno basin sayop ko ani...

CenPEG: The Comelec needs IT veterans who know Linux, which is a specialized niche within the IT industry. If Comelec gets 1970s-era IBM mainframers, these guys will not know what to do. As originally suggested, CenPEG recommends getting people from the Bayanihan Linux team of the DOST-ASTI and the members of the Philippine Linux Users’ Group.
^^ sakto ang suggestion CenPEG dli ra IT veterans ang kaylangan kundili kanang mga veterans sa Linux system kay Linux based mn kaha ang system nga gamiton.

Smartmatic-TIM will provide their own technicians.

While Smartmatic Corp and TIM have promised to send their own computer technicians to manage the voting machines, the Comelec said such technicians won’t be allowed inside polling precincts.

I hope their technicians could troubleshoot the system itself and not just the hardware side.

EDIT: ah ilang technician diay mo install sa system...natural ilaha gd ng machine or maybe pwede sila mo train sa mga comelec technicians..
