Brad, the examples you have given, what has it got to do with democracy?
mga bible fanatic nga puwa ug lubot?! misfire to your own camp man ni brad..

are the people in the examples you given recognized by the church? because as far as i'm concerned, only the roman catholic church is the most liberal religion in the country. all the other christian denominations, once mahibaw-an ka na muquestion ka sa doctrine, cast-out na ka.. with all those condescending remarks..

there is Religion in Democracy.. but no Democracy in Religion.. gets mo?

the mere believing of dogmas is already an indication that there is no democracy in religion. you must believe, no questions asked. ok, there may be questions, but you don't want to sever your connection to God, don't you? so, you have to believe. once you've embraced the dogmas, you no longer have democracy in that religion.

@necro: you may be right sir. some of the people just made the very big choice of democracy. and that's the freedom FROM religion.

how do you mean by "true" catholics sir? what distinguishes a "false" one from a "true" one?

believing a dogma is definitely a CHOICE! and believing is irrelevant to democracy... when its time to practice your belief thats the time democracy in religion emerge.. you have a choice AGAIN not to follow regularly church activities... dili ka dakpon ug prisohon sa mga pari.

how about you hell, is being a mason have democracy? you believe in it diba? so wala naka ana freedom diay kay nituo naman ka matud pa nimo?

i'm not an atheist brad.. mystic ko na campo..

    here, refer to this thread..

    https://www.istorya.net/forums/spirit...n-istorya.html

about RC, that's because they are slowly embracing democracy and open-mindedness..

did you know that most major denominations under RC are very open-minded? they do not agree with the current pope, but in their own words, "we still need a leader.."

no offense to the current pope.. pero murag leader2x lng na xa for the meantime..

Masonry is not a system of worship; neither is it the performance of purely sacred rites; it is a system of philosophy, the practice of morality; it acknowledges what is good and true in all creeds.

why would you involve Masonry? why would you involve my being a Mason in your post? you're clearly off-topic, sir.
