What is a democracy?

Majority rules, but respect the minority. Is this present in religious fanatics? Respecting the minority? Not!

Freedom of Political Expression

Many people want choice in their lives. One example is the freedom to use contraceptives such as condoms and birth control pills. Is this allowed by religious fanatics? They even condemn people who use such methods. Where is the freedom there then?

Freedom of Speech

The moment you question the "faith" and doctrine of such religion, you are immediately labeled a heretic, and banned from the organization. Not to mention that they will constantly condemn and look down upon you as if they are the "better" persons and the ones "who deserves salvation".. what a joke that is to freedom of speech.

The Essence of Democracy

is to be able to hear another's opinion without bias or prejudice. To listen to what the other person has to say without attacking the other person's personality. Is this existing in religious fanatics?

If you continue doing things because you are afraid of Hell or want to go to Heaven, how different are you from a student who is just after High Grades and will do anything to pass high school and not fail? All things happen for a reason. People do not want to respect each ones' freedom of speech because you are not speech friendly people on the otherhand...

there are far more religious fanatics that atheists. that explains why religious fanatics are more likely to control and convince other people of their beliefs than atheists.
