Personally i havent tried it but i know it works, but the 4850 will slow down the 4890 down to a hike.

hehehe, mao ba bro? cheering squad? aw balimbing ni nga cheering squad bro kay pareho ra man pud iya giingon with the ATI HD 4890 which can "sufficiently" support 2560x1600 nga resolution.

    ATI Radeon™ HD 4890 - GPU Specifications

"Each supports 18-, 24-, and 30-bit digital displays at all resolutions up to 1920x1200 (single-link DVI) or 2560x1600 (dual-link DVI)"

it's way out of line man siguro nga moingon nga basta 512mb ang memory sa video card, "insufficient" ang card sa 2560x1600 resolution. dapat pud i-take into account unsa nga gpu chip and what type of memory ang gigamit sa card, dili kay mo-conclude dayon nga insufficient ang card just because it has 512mb of memory.

(of course, insufficient is not equal to unusable. they have different meanings.)

    1. unsa man jud sukdanan anang video card? why mas nindot man ang GTS250 na 512MB ra man siya?

    >>no. the video card ram does not say how good the videocard is compared sa uban. better check lang mga links hatag sa posters before me. In general, higher ram means it can support higher resolution.

    >> DVI = HDMI, lahi lang pins and HDMI has audio. Naa videocards with HDMI na daan (but wala na audio), like this one

vga and svideo can only support 1028max resolution (im not sure but dili mag sobra 102
check this site lang File:Vector Video Standards2.svg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Yes. but dapat
1.) monitor can support up to 2500 resolution.
2.) video card can support up to 2500 resolution.

    3. Naay HDMI out ang video card? puede ra sad ba HDMI-HDMI na cord gamiton?

Yes. I think they are called HDCP ready videocards.

    9800gt blank / no display..
