some people think hero is a ribbon that can be worn on one's shirt pocket. if pacman is a sensible man, he wouldn't be too flattered at being called national hero. it is a terrible burden. if he is a non-sensible man who understands the word hero in its lamest meaning, then he would surely be bloating with pride. no cause for worry. we know who our real heroes are.

Hmmm, if Manny Paman is a hero, then why not Tiger Woods or that Beckham guy became "heroes"?

The only difference is, he becomes a human gambling pawn. Most people place bet on him then the media calls him a hero. What's wrong with the world? In that case, place your bet on me to make me someone worthy of being called "Bayani". Sure he is a great boxer. He really is. No question about that. It's just that, would you allow a hero being a betting pawn?

Uhhh, as for the money, isn't it ironic that a hero will work hard just for the money? Being a hero, it doesnot require financial gains. Being a hero means, he/she did this extraordinary thing because he/she chose to do so, because it is right, because it is for the good of others. It's NOT what the alleged hero gain from it, for it, and by it.

It's not that I'm crab mentality-ing. I'm just too fed up with him. Going on with this thread caused a Pacman hype in me. I refuse to.

boni did his best and loved our country no question about that but his best wasnt enough to drive the spaniards away. He deserves to be a hero pero pang local lang. dili parehas ni rizal og pacman. parehas sila nga naay gibuhat sa pinas pero mas extra ordinary lang ila rizal og pacman.
