Help! Winxp installation

Mga bro and sis, help i have P4 Asrock mobo and proc2.8 ghz when i install the OS xp it will start hang on starting copying files of os. I try it several times it will hang on that part of installation of OS XP. I already try to the HDD and Memory its still the same error hang so i cant proceed in installation. What do u think my mobo is already defective.?

Yup. You got it right. The problem lies on the memory. I've encountered that before with my brother's rig. We have it replaced the memory since it's under warranty paman. Then after of ilis ok na. diridiretso na ang installation sa OS.
