Well, for me... First, I'll ask my child to define what is a demon? In my own, I'll teach them what the bible is and guide them from there. I don't smack my child with a bible just to prove my point that being a demon is against the bible... you have to explain what is demon and what causes to be one. Then I'll teach them the commandments and then explain to them. If they understand, then I am doing my part. It's up to them later in life to choose what their life will be. btw, I don't like my children to live like some kind of fundamentalists but full of wisdom.

I mean, if you are going to be hard nosed teacher soon they will question your values your ethics, your beliefs and your kids will sway out from your reach. The bible is bible there are things that are good natured and the are things that aren't... you teach them that. Now, when you ask me about substitute... what does it really mean? Beliefs, faith, religion? to be honest, kids are like sponge... the more you give them... they more they absorb. But you have to be very careful because they are at a delicate stage. As for me, I'll them what's communism, socialism, partisan, etc... so they will understand that there are hundreds of religion claiming they are the truth. I think that's simple enough for the kids to know.
