Memory Short

Hi, I always encounter this problem, "Cannot run program, low on system memory" (not the exact message but same idea). Since cge ko ug padagan ug mga software nga according sa makers dako ug consumo sa memory, i figure out i need to add 2 more gigs on my 2 gig existing memory, 2 pcs 1gig pc 667 Blitz.

Karon pagpalit nako sa PCQB, i was planning to buy the same brand, since so far so good ra man siya. wala na daw blitz so i bought kingston. 2pcs 1gig pc667 kingston. so bale 4 gig na tanan.. ang naa sa system infor kay 3.25gig of ram ra lage... asa diay ang uban?

is the kingston, i recently bought defective?

Unsa imo os? 32-bit o 64-bit? F 32-bit 3gb of memory ra ma read..

32bit windows xp sp3*edited* mao ba? pero ang nagamit ana is 4gig gyud?

yup nagamit ang 4gb..but 3gb ra max supported o ma read sa 32-bit os..pra magamit nmo ang 4gb..u need to install a 64-bit os lyk win xp or vista or win 7..

pra sure ka nga lay error imo napalit nga mem..run a bootable cd of memtest-86..

f mo error dn pa ilisi imong mem..

mas maau bro upgrade to a 64bit OS kay more than 3gig naman imo memory.

magamit man sa imo system ang 4gb nga memory bro, ayaw ka-worry, hehehe. usually basta 32-bit nga OS, i-reserve niya ang uban memory to system devices and dili na maggamit sa imo i-run nga programs mao less than 4gb ra iya i-display.

mas ok gani imo bro kai akoa os mo read rag 2.75 out of 4gig na ram. hehe. and btw u said that xp sp3 by amit. nononono bad OS. hehe
