CRT monitor repair question for technicians here

ask lang ko sa mga experienced monitor technicians here. ako monitor man gud naay magkipat kipat na lain colors, mo flicker siya horizontally like something bluish & sometimes mo discolor into yellow. i've read that it's cold solder (old monitor na) so i resoldered all that i could on the main board & that board/module that attaches to the end of the crt. it did go away for a while but it came back again & persistently even though i tried resoldering back some spots. i seem to isolate it to that board at the end of the crt coz if i touch it a bit it corrects the flickering. i resoldered most parts in that board & the pins of the crt socket but the flickering just keeps coming back. i tried cleaning the crt contacts but still the same, flickers back after a while.

so, unsa man gyud problema ani? is this a symptom of a faulty crt socket? common bani na problema if mag flicker na ang monitor?

this is an old IBM crt monitor w/ a panasonic tube. i want to keep this going until major parts na gyud mo fail coz i like very much its color accuracy unlike the inexpensive lcds.

Ingon ana man sad akong AOC bro, yes cold solder ra dyud na, nag lisud ko ana pag solve sa una, sige pud ko resolder, check nako mga capacitor wala man sad ni burot, yes kita sad ko ug mga loose solder, abi nako kato ra usa, then pag on nako mo kalit lang ug shirnk ang screen mag baglis-balis, usahay yellow ra sya, inig hapak ma uli.an ra pud, so resolder nako tanan spots, then na uli.an rapud.

ako bitaw resolder balik bro, maulian man pero 1 day or 2 days after mobalik na pud. one thing that i've noticed is that when i touched that crt back board/module maulian gyud. right now, everytime mo karat/flicker ako lang kuhiton ang board w a stick mo ok dayon. the only thing i could think off that move w such little tap to that board is the connection between the crt socket itself only. that's why i was wondering if that is common part - the socket, to get broken over long period/getting old & causes such flickering problem. wala man gud experience fixing tv's & monitors. thanks sa imo input bro & hopefully naa maka tabang nako ani.

by the way, i did resolder back that crt socket even cleaned & wiggled the crt terminals a little bit hoping it would solve it but still the problem persist.

Ay sakto pud diay bro kanang sa likod sa picture tube gani naay board niya, resolder pud kanang mga tiil sa iyang electron gun, kalimot ko ug sulti da.

o bro, ako gi pang resolder as much as i could ang crt backboard hasta ang crt socket pero mobalik ghapon after a day. ako kuhiton ang board w a stick maulian pero mobalik na man pud taud taud. by all indications the problem's originating from that board. and the only thing i could think of that move slightly sa akong pagkuhit is the connection between the crt & the board which is in the crt socket. so i wonder & im asking sa mga experts diri if defective na or worn out na ang socket, is this its symptom? ilisan ang socket? thanks smarkies og sa naa ikatampo diha.

Worn out na siguro bro, pero ako ok naman, kuwang siguro sa duot, or naay something didto nga part sa imong kuhiton nga luag siguro? What if pa hugtan to didto nga part?

try og tester ang tanan station nya til 1-5 kun naai guba mau 2 ilisi.it just simply like that.kun wala dra ang problema it might naa sa flyback or picturetube.
